Can I switch plans later? +
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.
What happens to my leagues if I downgrade? +
Your existing leagues stay active. You just lose access to Pro or Commissioner features going forward. Existing private leagues remain viewable but you cannot create new ones on the Free plan.
Is the annual plan billed upfront? +
Yes — annual plans are billed as a single payment upfront and renew yearly. You save 37% on Pro and 44% on Commissioner compared to monthly billing.
Do you offer refunds? +
We offer a 7-day refund on new subscriptions. Contact support@fantasygovernment.com within 7 days of your first charge.
Is there a free trial? +
The Free plan is free forever — no trial needed. You can play a full season without paying anything. Pro and Commissioner plans do not currently include a free trial.
Are there ads on Fantasy Government? +
No. Fantasy Government is ad-free on all plans. We are funded entirely by subscriptions.
Do my league members need a paid plan to join? +
No — only the commissioner (the person who creates the league) needs a Pro or Commissioner plan. Everyone else can join and play on the Free plan. Just share your invite code and they are in.
What is Election Mode? +
Election Mode is a special feature available on Pro and Commissioner plans during even-numbered years. In October, you pick the outcomes of 5 competitive congressional races before Election Night. Points are awarded based on correct predictions and added to your season total — giving you a chance to shake up the standings heading into the playoffs.
